Michael’s Way is a fun, and quite easy project to make! This quilt makes up into a large lap quilt that measures 73″ square and is Fat Quarter Friendly! This quilt is perfect for showcasing a beautiful line of fabric done with large prints down to small coordinates. I came to this quilt “Michael’s Way” because I had been playing with the squares on our family room floor and my husband came in and simply twisted a couple of squares around to create this lovely design. I can see this quilt made up with little girl or boy prints. The wide border is perfect to display a favorite large print. It definitely reminds me of something grandma would make. Don’t forget – this quilt is fat quarter friendly and super easy! Check out my newest patterns on Craftsy – Garden Path Quilts.
I’m so excited! This is my newest pattern booklet that I’ve been working on for over a year. It’s called “Snail On The Move”. What has me most excited is that with each pieced block you’ll get to read a part of the story of a special little snail called Edie. Edie the snail got herself into a predicament and is making her way home. The quilt measures 67″ x 87″. It’s also Fat Quarter Friendly!

Hello friends, it’s been a rough nine months. I had a new cancer surgery procedure done last summer that was very daunting. The recovery these past many months was miserable, but I got through it. And with that said – at the moment I’m cancer free. Six years of battling cancer!
I’m ready to live life again and will be revamping my blog this week. I have about five new quilt designs under my belt right now. Two of the quilt designs are completed and almost ready to put into my Craftsy Store.
Thanks everyone for keeping in touch!

One of my favorite sites is called “Quilter’s Cache”. I can find almost any quilt block I’m looking for in many different sizes. Wonderful block sizing and instructions are included with each block design. Marcia Hohn is the site owner and designs up many of the quilt blocks herself. The site is very inspirational.
